#5. A Doodle A Day - Day 4 & 5 Sausage Hand & My Bro

Thursday's doodle:

I experimented with leaving fingerprints on my diary for Wednesday.

I sort of tried to make a hand out of five blurry fingerprints. 

Well. I failed. But it was fun anyway, so I guess it's fine this way. :P

So here it is: the one and only hand! XD I call it sausage hand -_-

Friday's doodle:

While me and my brother was waiting for our food in a Japanese Ramen-ya,

I made a quick doodle of my brother.

I think he looks better in real life of course :)

Anyway, it's nice to have an opportunity to draw a person I love and care.  X)

#5. A Doodle A Day - Day 2 & 3 Prof's Office, Killer Cherry Juice

Day 2's doodle:

A doodle from my diary.

I went to my professor's office to discuss my essay.

It's not the first time I went to a prof's office, but it's always intriguing to enter a place that one person has occupied for a while. The space has turned to his or her world.

I guess professors usually like to (or somehow get to) be surrounded by piles of books and journals.

It was  kinda nice!

Day 3's doodle:
Today I made a prop (a juice brand, "DISGORGE X INC.") for my new story project #85. (http://blog.naver.com/haejinsung)
I like conceiving little funny trivial props for my stories. They are mainly for a bit of fun (I like discovering things in the background and props when I am watching movies and dramas!). But they can also function as an unexpected foreshadowing or implication for something. :)

So there are three flavors. Chewy Chewy Shararara Cherry Juuuice, Chewy Chewy Bararara Carrot Juuuice, and Chewy Chewy Tararara Monkey (??!) Juuuice :P They are regular props for three of my characters. They carry each of their favorite flavor and drink them often.
Other people don't get why they are having such weird drinks. But I like to imagine that they taste gorgeous.

What flavor would you like to try first? X)
My first choice is the Monkey.....

There is a skull mark on the side of the package.. as a friendly warning sign! (Because it tastes good but no one really knows what's in it...? Maybe an actual monkey??)

The package also features a cute (?) little character called Zac.

He is holding a scythe...

Actually, Zac is a side character for my other story project. I enjoy planting little hints for my other projects. :>

Below is the drawing of him I made in Dec, 2010. He looks like a skeleton and he looks creepy (the way he cringes his body and stare right at you with those big hollow eyes...). But he is also a very pure person inside :) He is very loyal to people he likes.

What'd I doodle for tomorrow? It's pretty fun and not so time-consuming! X)

#5. A Doodle A Day - Day 1 Girl in Blue + Soo-Oh

My project for the next seven days is a doodle a day.

So, here is today's doodle: :)

It's from yesterday's diary. I've been making notes like this for some weeks everyday--I scribble date, weather, a thing or two, and leave a lip mark (leaving a fingerprint would be another fun way to remember everyday, but I guess more bothersome.... well, maybe I'll try it another day :)) 

The girl in the blue is me, by the way X)

 

Oh, I made another doodle in the library today.

 

This is Soo-Oh Jang (장수오, 18), a character for my new story (http://blog.naver.com/haejinsung).

I wanted a character who looks sanguine and cool in the outside but really twisted and rotten (?) in the inside.... Well, that is the basic concept. :)

Working progress:

It took a relatively little time to formulate his image.

Initially he had a short hair... I usually like characters with short hair or styling.

Then I thought of giving him a long hair (so that I can have another character cut it... swish!!)

 

Then I gave him this fuzzy (?), puppy-like hair, and defined his features..

I think I like the way he looks for now. Oh I'd like to cuddle his hair ;P

And filled in his pupils. :P Before this he had white eyes ㅇ_ㅇ

 

I can't wait to further develop his character.

I'm trying not to make him too much like a stereotypical manga-protagonist...

#4. Brainstorming - Day 7 Spring Clothes

Today's brainstorming: spring clothes!

It is 18 Celsius today!!! Wow!!!

My brother says that in this time of year this place should be around -5 to 5 Celsius, but because of the global warming, it's really warm today! Well, but the temperature will go down to 0 in the weekend. -_-

So I was browsing around and stashing things that I liked in my Springpad.

Sadly my budgets are limited, and my shapes and needs further restrict the kinds of clothes that I can buy and wear. :P But, well, who doesn't like to browse.....><  Though it's stressful...

 

One thing about me: I looove hats.

 

 

And also prints and patterns. X)

Come spring! I'm eager to see the first blossom here.

But I haven't got the clothes for the spring, so I've got my fingers crossed that spring doesn't come too soon :)
